What Fixa is

Fixa is a work number and AI assistant for independent service professionals. It's built for the moment every pro knows: you're under a sink, the phone rings, it's a customer, and whatever they say is going to be forgotten by the time your hands are dry. Fixa picks that up — the call, the note, the follow-up — so you can finish the job.

Who builds it

Fixa is a product of FixerUp, the AI-powered home services company. FixerUp runs a marketplace that connects homeowners with vetted local pros; working with those pros every day is where Fixa came from. The hardest part of their job was never the work — it was everything around the work.

Where Fixa came from

The first Fixa was a web service for homeowners: it called contractors and collected quotes. It taught us a lot about what happens on both ends of those calls — and that the people who most needed help with the phone were the pros answering it. That consumer web service is being retired; Fixa today is built for the pros.

What we believe
