Is Fixa free?

The first 1,000 contractor calls made through Fixa are free. After the first 1,000 calls, calls will be paid — pricing details will be published before that happens, and nothing is ever charged without your confirmation.

Does Fixa share my phone number or address with contractors?

No. Fixa calls contractors on its own line and shares the job details you approved — the general area, the scope, the photos you chose. Your phone number and exact address are only shared when you pick a contractor and decide to move forward.

How fast do quotes come back?

The standard turnaround is within 48 hours, delivered by email. One-day and four-hour turnaround tiers for urgent jobs are rolling out.

Do contractors know an AI is calling?

Yes. Fixa introduces itself as an assistant calling on behalf of a homeowner, and shares only the project details you approved before the call.

Which contractors does Fixa call?

Fixa searches the live web for local contractors matching your job and shows you candidates with real contact information — you choose who gets called. You can also add any contractor you already know, and Fixa will call them too.

Does Fixa check licensing and insurance?

Fixa asks every contractor about license and insurance status during the call, and runs a vetting checklist before submitting your job. Final verification is still yours — Fixa reports what each contractor said.

Can Fixa book the job for me?

No — Fixa collects quotes and information. Choosing a contractor and booking stays in your hands, so there's no pressure and no surprise commitments.

What kinds of projects does Fixa handle?
